Since August 2020, the Dresden company has been offering locals and tourists the opportunity to book modern city bikes, trekking bikes and scooters via the MietOn sharing app using 1 2 Drive. The app is available under its own name and with its own app icon in the Google Play Store and Apple Store. Using a QR code scan, users select their bike at a location as well as a rental rate and pay by credit card or Paypal. If the booking is extended, the subsequent calculation will be made upon check-out.

The app allows users to book 200 vehicles at 53 publicly accessible locations. Bike sharing for MietOn was implemented and put into operation within a short period of just 4 months. The services provided by 1 2 Drive as part of this bike sharing project include setting up and adapting the mobility platform with a white label app. In addition, we have, for example, developed a voucher system for marketing campaigns and integrated these into the bike sharing app. As part of our services, we continuously support the Dresden team in the further development of the app.
