At “MotionUmdenken” the Stadtwerke Norderstedt and the city of Norderstedt demonstrate modern and sustainable mobility with the help of 12 Drive. Since 2022, 115 bicycles with electric support, so-called Pedelecs, have been available free of charge to around 2,000 employees of the municipal utilities, the city administration and other municipal companies at eight publicly accessible locations with loading bars. The vehicles are used for journeys for business purposes as well as for the journey from work to home and back.

Employees are registered via app or via the booking frontend on the new website movement-umdenken.de. You can then book spontaneously or create a future booking. The Pedelec frame locks are conveniently controlled via an app. Users can extend bookings in the app. When you finish the booking in the app, any damage to the bike can be recorded and sent with a picture. Feedback on the trip can also be sent.
